Gulf South Garden Roses - Virtual Growers Workshop - 2026 Registration
Do you want to grow beautiful garden roses right here in the deep south?
Are you interested in propagating your own antique roses?
Do you want to create a beautiful garden for your own enjoyment?
Are you interested in farming garden roses for design work?
We can help you learn how to do all of these things.
We’ve grown roses in both the city and on our farm for years. If there’s a mistake to make in growing roses, chances are we’ve made it (or will soon!). These experiences have given us a wealth of knowledge that we are so excited to share with you.
Join us for a virtual rose growing course and leave with a firm foundation for growing garden roses in the Gulf South’s hot and humid environment.

Gulf South Rose Course FAQs:
What if I can’t make the live Q&As? If you can’t make the Q&As, you can email us your questions ahead of time. We will record the sessions and send them out afterwards.
I’m new to gardening. Do I need to be a more advanced gardener to grow roses? Definitely not! Roses get a bad rap for being hard to grow in the South, but they are very forgiving, and we will start with the basics and build the foundation from there.
Is the course for anyone in the Gulf Coast region? We are in USDA Zone ~8/9, and we experience very hot summers with fairly mild winters (but we do get freezes). The course is generally for that climates, and we discuss how you can tailor maintenance and care for your specific growing conditions.
Are there hard copies of the course book available for purchase? Yes, the rose course book is only available for workshop registrants. We will ship a course book to you in December!
Will you ever offer this course on farm? We would love to one day offer courses at the farm. There are some logistics that we have to iron out first.
