Darwin Hybrids are some of our favorite tulips to grow here in the South! These lovely blooms usually grace us in February (just in time for your Valentine!) when planted in late December.
Tulip bulbs require a certain number of chill hours to produce blooms. That can get a little dicey here in the South where our winters are mild, so we take the guesswork out for you by prechilling them in our cooler at the farm. By the time they are available in December (either for shipping or on-farm pickup), they’ll be ready to go in the ground.
This contains 10 prechilled bulbs. We have options for Salmon Impression (all pink photos) and our favorite February mix (pink, red, and white).
